Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons mustard seeds
  • 25 ml vinegar
  • 75 ml beer (we use Great Lakes Christmas Ale)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

A tangy, sweet whole grain mustard infused with Great Lakes Christmas Ale and blended with a Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer.

  1. Soak mustard seeds in vinegar and beer overnight.
  2. Drain of excess liquid before you process if you want a thicker mustard.
  3. Pour into your Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer with the chopper inserted.
  4. Turn the handle to blend until you have a paste. Refrigerate.


Note: The flavors will be more developed if you give it a few days before use.
