Homemade Whole Grain Mustard with a Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer

A tangy, sweet whole grain mustard infused with Great Lakes Christmas Ale and blended with a Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer.

- Ingredients -
4 tablespoons mustard seeds
25 ml vinegar
75 ml beer (we use Great Lakes Christmas Ale)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

- Tools -
Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer

Soak mustard seeds in vinegar and beer overnight. Drain of excess liquid before you process if you want a thicker mustard. Pour into your Weston Manual Mixer with the chopper inserted. Turn the handle to blend until you have a paste. Refrigerate.

Note: The flavors will be more developed if you give it a few days before use.
