Homemade Whole Grain Mustard with a Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons mustard seeds
- 25 ml vinegar
- 75 ml beer (we use Great Lakes Christmas Ale)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
A tangy, sweet whole grain mustard infused with Great Lakes Christmas Ale and blended with a Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer.
- Soak mustard seeds in vinegar and beer overnight.
- Drain of excess liquid before you process if you want a thicker mustard.
- Pour into your Weston Manual Kitchen Mixer with the chopper inserted.
- Turn the handle to blend until you have a paste. Refrigerate.
Note: The flavors will be more developed if you give it a few days before use.
