Ambassador Guidelines

Our Mission
Weston's mission is to fuel a movement of hunters, gatherers, and locavores with the enduring, well-built products needed for a self-sustaining approach to food. We deliver the know-how to bring those products to life.  If our mission is something you can get behind, get in touch with us! You might be just who we're looking for our ambassador program.

 Our Approach to Ambassador Partnerships
We put products into the hands of opinion leaders who we think align with our own values, with the hope that they like them and will want to use them in their everyday food projects and share them with their friends and followers.

FTC Guidelines
Weston follows the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC's) Guidelines Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising. We ask ambassadors to be transparent in your experience with our product(s) and comply with FTC disclosure of material connections. If you receive a product from Weston for free to review or promote, you must reveal such on your blog. Weston is interested in honest reviews and you are entitled to blog about your experience as you see fit. For information on the FTC's guidelines, please visit: http://ftc.gov/os/2009/10/091005revisedendorsementguides.pdf

Requirements
To participate in any promotion or program, you must be 18 years or older and reside in the 50 United States or D.C.. Weston will not pay any form of compensation to review our product(s).

How We Do Partnerships
Our partnerships are about alignment with opinion makers and experts. The agreement is essentially: product in exchange for genuine, authentic reviews, mentions, and other content. For us, an opinion leader is someone with a platform (a blog, a book, a TV show...) through which they promote a lifestyle centered on real food. Not every partnership we build is the same. We also hope that if there’s something you don’t like, you’ll let us know so that we can improve the product.
