These country-style ribs, smoked in a Weston Smoker, then glazed with an orange-Sriracha garlic jelly make for a smoky, Asian-inspired rib that's perfect for summer barbecues.
- Ingredients -
2 lbs Country Style Ribs (you can use
any ribs for this recipe)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Glaze
8 oz
Balsamic Herb Garlic Jelly (click for recipe)
1 teaspoon
Sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon orange juice
Garnish
sesame seeds
scallions

Weston Smoker
apple or cherry wood chips
disposable aluminum roasting pan
Soak your wood chips for 30 minutes and preheat your
Weston Smoker to 150 degrees. Place the ribs into the roasting pan and sprinkle with pepper, chili powder, and salt. Fill the pan with water to a quarter inch.

Place the ribs into the smoker and smoke 4-6 hours, until the internal temperature of the pork is 150 degrees F.
Tip: Be sure to change out your wood chips as needed. Once they are ash, empty the smoke box and replace them with new ones (that have been soaking at least 30 minutes) - otherwise your pork may taste ashy.

While the ribs are smoking, mix together ingredients for the glaze. Chill until ready to use.
Once the ribs are finished smoking, brush the glaze onto the ribs. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
