Lamb Sliders with a Weston Slider Press

These savory lamb sliders are made with meat and spices that were freshly ground in a Weston Manual Food Grinder, then pressed in a Weston Mini Burger Press. They're topped with a delicious Tzatziki sauce, crafted with homemade Greek yogurt that we made in our Weston Dehydrator - plus feta, mint, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers.

Makes three approximately 1/6 lb slider patties

Weston Manual Food Grinder
Weston Mini Burger Press

Toast the cumin, coriander and fennel seeds and peppercorns. Place spices, garlic, cubed lamb, and fat into the Weston Manual Food Grinder and grind with the coarse grinder plate inserted. Run half of the grind back through with the finer grinder plate inserted. Mix the two grinds together.

Take a third of the mix and form a ball. Place it onto a slot of the Weston 3-Slot Mini Burger Press. Repeat for two remaining slots, then press down to form patties. Remove the patties from the slots, then grill to your desired temperature or cook on your stove top with olive oil.

Mix together all ingredients for the Tzatziki sauce. Serve lamb sliders, sprinkled with mint, in mini pita pockets with Tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, onions, feta, and cucumbers.
