Katherine's Late Summer Salsa made with a Roma Tomato Strainer

This may sound too simple to be true, but between a Roma Tomato Strainer, Weston Manual Kitchen Kit, and a few basic ingredients, I made a pretty delicious homemade salsa (if I do say so myself) - from scratch - in just under ten minutes!

Makes about a quart

 - Ingredients -
8 vine ripe tomatoes
2 red peppers
1 green pepper
1 jalapeno
1 handful of fresh cilantro
1 white onion
1 teaspoon salt

- Tools -
Roma Tomato Strainer with Salsa Screen (Manual or Electric will both work perfectly)
Weston Manual Kitchen Kit

Quarter your tomatoes, then use your Roma Tomato Strainer to process them into a salsa consistency.

Quarter your peppers and onion, then place them into the Weston Manual Kitchen Kit with the chopper inserted. Place the cilantro into the kit as well, then turn the handle to chop.

Mix the tomato salsa with the ingredients from the chopper, sprinkle in salt, then serve with tortilla chips. Yep, that's it!
