Recipe - Blueberry Chipotle Ketchup with a Tomato Strainer

Makes 2 cups

  • 12 oz blueberries
  • 1/2 pint of grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1 chipotle pepper + 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 8 oz tomato paste


Fresh picked grape tomatoes, blueberries, and some chipotles in adobo make for one awesome homemade ketchup. 

  1. Use your tomato strainer with the berry screen to puree your blueberries.
  2. Replace the screen with the pumpkin screen and run the tomatoes through.
  3. Finely chop the chipotle pepper and mix with the adobo sauce.
  4. Pour remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  5. Cover and refrigerate ketchup until ready to use.
